Great win for the US government against Dell Federal Systems

Price fixing contracts is a bad idea, and I look foward to all upcoming future deals Dell Federal Systems is planning with the US government.

An angry person from a competing reseller rec’d $345k of the settlement as a whistleblower. The settlement was also divided between Dell and Ironbow. A contingency of accepting the settlement was no admission of wrongdoing.

This can't be the same Dell that makes us take the ethics training covering this same topic? 🤔 Nah, it can't be...

Wonder if it ends here, or if they will go after the Sales reps (Dell and VAR) who were involved.

Dell made more money doing this scheme than they paid in settlement funds. Egregious error by the US DOJ - Dell should be paying WAY MORE than what they were ordered. Make it make sense, this is a fake punishment so everyone can pat their own backs. Good job Michael, play fraud, scheme and lie, but win right?

I worked in sales for 15 plus years. Vendors ALWAYS tried to con sales reps into giving higher priced quotes
