Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Upcoming layoffs in 2025

Now is just about the time associates start to worry about layoffs next year. Of course, that includes the yearly thinning related to the calibration process, and new outsourcing announcements, and new H1Bs. Plus, some of those that get the axe from January to March have already been identified through the budget process. In any event, no one is safe and you can be sure Walmart has no loyalty to anyone.

See the previous post. This is exactly why Walmart should require (at least) a sixth grade education.

It's going to be very interesting to see Walmart's self-proclaimed leaders and how many layoffs they will do in calendar year 2025.

It has driven so many talented people to leave. What a waste of resources.

Here’s a good one for you…… it’s not even thanksgiving yet but home office managers are already looking for associates they want to cut. Things will be arranged so their performance is low.

Looks like the DEI trainers in People Division will be on the chopping block. Can't say that one bothers me.
