Got my notice. Made it 28 years. Last 20 of them looking over my shoulder. Fare thee well, Hiawatha. Fare the well, mighty warrior.

"These people refusing to RTO and losing their very good paying job are not very smart to start with."
If you think the job is the only thing people have to consider when they are making decisions about relocating then you are the id--t. I would tell you to go back to Walmart but I don't want to insult Walmart employees.
These people refusing to RTO and losing their very good paying job are not very smart to start with.
I'm sure you made good coin for those 28 years, you'll be fine.
congratulations! I declined the RTO designation and was happy to take the severance. Your life will be better without AT&T! It's just sad to see how fast this company going downhill over the years, it's no longer the same company when I started 25+ years ago.
And I also noticed that a lot of people complaining about AT&T's services and bad business practices on LinkedIn. Normally you don't see these kind of stuff on professional social network. It's happening even under John St*ky's post! It makes me wonder what made the 'leadership' feel so confident about what they are doing to the company.
Good luck with the folks who are still sticking around. The titanic is sinking...
Good luck to the graduating class of 2024.
The quality of life has just increased 1000-fold for you. After the first 2 weeks, once you get the clean break and the severance is deposited, you will tha k God.
Trust that.
At least this wasn’t a surprise and you knew it was coming.
Got mine today too.
Sorry that you received a notice and they didn’t have the decency to allow you to retire on your own terms. This place is seriously defective and in a psychotic state of evil and disrepair. Pray for those that are left behind and demoralized with each passing week.
Celebrate and enjoy your health and wealth of every kind.
What level were you?
Congrats on the retirement. You will be just fine. Take a deep breath and then realize you have just got your life back.
Best of luck! Same boat here too.
Congratulations to you!
It’s definitely WAY MORE than bonkers!
You’ll be much better off. This place is bonkers.
Brighter days are ahead.
