The campus holiday party as a single event is clearly to cut cost. Used to have nice offsite parties with coworkers at a nice restaurant.
DW “hosting” is icing on the cake. Is he paying for it out of his pocket?

@3pqu+1vF3xlj8 I never fill up at an Exxon gas station. I always use Chevron. I know it doesn't hurt the bottom line but I try to get back at Darren and Kathy any way I can.
Did people actually read the waiver required for the Btec 100 R&D saturday carnival ? I would not bring my kids there, with the train going by right there full of chemicals?
Why am I going to bring my family that don’t take care of their employees.

All I have share about this company with my wife and kids make them even not stop in an Exxon gas station.
Just here because going to retire in 2025.

Don't care for holiday parties.
Just give me a stable place with livable wages in the area. Good environment for growth and meaningful work
Anything else is just fluff that is nice to have. But not something required. If so I would like to have a high end spa every month
