Thread regarding Fidelity Investments layoffs

My manager is a mother of all micromanagers

I half-expect them to follow us all the way into the bathroom. They negatively affect our performance. Too much interference, too many questions, too many pointless suggestions. My workflow is being interrupted all the time, and it really is difficult to focus when you have someone constantly buzzing around your head. How about they just let us work? We actually do know how to do our jobs.

It is unfortunate that Fidelity Owners and Certified Officers made decisions that led to the low moral. It will be years before Fidelity recovers, but the path they are on now is heading to he-l, that is UNLESS they start acting like we are humans again.

Keep up the in office mandate and you will be fighting everyone for years to come plus lose business in the process.

You pick Fidelity, it's your company, we are here to get paid, nothing in the game for us since we can walk away.

Just look what WE THE PEOPLE did to WALMART on Black Friday. You might have the purse strings, but WE have the power.

Happy Holidays!!!

I’d be interested to know either what group this is, position, or salary grade even. My old department was getting like this and tons of us left. They can’t keep anyone that knows what they’re doing, so much turnover. It got bubbled up a couple of levels and a stop was put on the micromanaging. It did get better but people are still leaving in high amounts.
