Stankey and crew give them selves a bunch of options then buy back stock by the company to jack up the share price then cash out on the options for big bucks.

Buybacks are always good for the company.

I think Stank said in the last town hall that this would be the quickest way to enrich himself. So, that is interesting.

What is also interesting is that if the investor is expecting this and it does not happen, what will happen to the stock price. The investor wants ATT to continue with the dividends closer to 7% as it has paid in the past. If ATT does not take action to increase the dividend then what happens. How much of the recent increase in stock price is due to investors expecting greater dividend payouts in the near future. They surely have not been buying the stock due to increased revenue. And we are starting to run out of companies to sell to generate additional cash flow.

That’s right. Leadership gains the most from stock buybacks. What a bunch of selfish MFers man. Human collateral to line their pockets.

Squeeze the employees with unreasonable RTO, then enrich top leadership with performance bonuses based on frivolous stock buybacks to boost short-term results. Who cares if the company is sinking, leaders get more money while everyone else suffers.
