Anyone not nearing retirement eligibility should be starting to circulate their CV. You can likely achieve much more outside of this place - writing on the wall is in size 100 font.

If your boss said he had never seen a zero percent raise he is either a liar or hasn’t been doing this for long. Don’t want he remember the last two downturns in the past ten years? Many had no raise during those years. Then super low raises that were basically zero percent coming out of the downturn. Wouldn’t you know it those were the years I did best in the ranking and received no raise for it as pay was frozen for all. If you are ranked low or your ranking falls you are at risk of zero raise or so low it is practically zero.
Zero percent raise is the ultimate f you to us the employees. How do they think it will motivate anyone. I used to just want to do my work and be left alone but after receiving my wonderful non raise of 0 percent I want more money. No raise no more work just the bare minimum.
I have two years of 0% raise. How about that?

They are getting me ready for outster. I was just given a zero percent raise. The boss said they had never seen one before and that if I work harder next year it would go up. Wow talk about demotivating. I came to help a group out and transfered into a sh-t hole. No appreciation from these ba----ds. I can be a pain their as--s for yhe next few years as I am NRE. F u ck them. My ranking is also dropping. Who cares I get my retirement anyway. I am waiting till retirement day.
