Thread regarding IBM layoffs

IBM Engagement Survey Results are a joke

What's the point of releasing the results if you won't show the actual results? There were several questions on there that I know for a fact reflected very poorly on the execs. I know that they won't ever release the data but for a company that claims its transparency, they're doing a real sh-t job at doing it. Our manager showed the results from our team and compared it to the rest of IBM and let me just say, the only positive thing we saw was first and second line managers were mostly helping their employees. Everything else was negative. Especially the part where they asked if employees felt like the execs had the employees best interest at heart.

Even the "I want to be working at IBM a year from now" could've been construed in a way that says "I realllllly don't want to be part of layoffs and the tech market is sh-t so I can't leave this he-l hole."

Anyways, I just wanted to rant since they released the results. I know they don't care and they will never change. I'm definitely part of the "I want to leave this he-l hole but the tech market is sh-t" party.

They are usually useful for the executive so they know which things to ignore. The more you complain about something the more likely they are not to do anything about it as a matter of fact, they make it even worse

What's transparency ? Is it when Alvind tries to pinch a much bigger bonus than he is entitled to and the lapdog Kavanaugh takes a leak on Alvind's leg to try and stop him.

Yes, same with us. Our CGM only had one "positive" to mention and that was that there were more participants this year than last. Seriously you have to shake your head. The manager feedback was across the board red, -20% (and more) in some cases. "Would you recommend IBM to friends and family" was down -35%! All the top dogs will see how blood red the company is. They won't do anything about it, but they will see the actual results and also see employees are not happy at all. It's not a healthy company and hasn't been for many years. Shameful results and a damning indictment of our poor senior leadership.
