Did the layoffs started yet or not for employees?

Seems they are offloading headcount and cutting budgets for something - sell/buy - wait and see!
Layoffs at the refineries starting in HR, Accounting, Finance and Procurement. Shifting the work from the sites to corporate offices or other contractors. Probably paying more to contractors to do the same work. But it may be a sign they are off loading headcount to sell the downstream assets finally.
They’re handing out early retirements here and there. That’s generous I suppose.

This must be a joke. Cant believe, these guys hire like crazzy and fire like nothing. False hopes and mo--ns who cant budget properly. We should not join these kind of organizations. What a waste of time, resources and energy?
Layoffs in HR are taking place and not just those who were part of CORE optimization. This company is shameful. It’s weeks before the holiday season. What is wrong with people?
Two people let go this morning downstream due to positions eliminated.
Can confirm that they did layoffs this morning.
Think it’s started by the looks of things. Am sick for the people affected. This was irresponsible leadership who didn’t keep their eye on things. KS and CLT should be getting their pay in shares, KS should have to go to each persons family and man up but instead he’ll just keep rolling in the dough while these people worked their as--s off for two years just to have the rug pulled out from under them two weeks before Christmas.
