I would take it as a hint that they want you to leave. It's a cold, cruel world.

I was told vp+ got no raise. I know I didn't get any despite getting an ep.

First time in more than 15 years without a raise, and not near the top end of the range for my role. Got 50% fewer shares but at least got some.

No hike and low bonuses…. Is this why everyone in mgmt is in a foul mood lately?

I am shocked to hear so many people getting 0% with no information as to why. I’ve been at Fido for 30 years, and it has happened 4 times, only once was it expected. The first time I had taken a new job that was a bit of a demotion pay wise, but it was a much better job. I was capped at that new job so I didn’t get a raise that year - but they gave me a higher bonus to compensate. The next time was 2009 - a devastating year for just about everyone. Lucky to have kept my job. The next time I was also at the top end of my pay grade, and the final time my manager said I was at the top of my pay grade (I don’t think he was intentionally lying, but he was wrong). I have never not gotten a bonus since becoming exempt.

Same as others. No hike, worst bonus I have had in my 10 year career. 200 shares.

I got no raise, a sh---y bonus and a “try again next year”. I met and exceeded the set targets for my role.

3%. But it really depending on the unit you are in. Brokerage/Wealth are still on struggle street after the split. Other areas were quite profitable.

Don't believe they're trying to driving folks out.

Wait, what?

Seriously? Mate, they want to dump us quicker than Bears fans want to cut and run.

Don't believe they're trying to driving folks out. But capitalist being capitalist, given the low attribution rate internally and grim job market externally, of course they won't waste the opportunity of squeezing us knowing we won't leave.

'Hike' as in 'take a hike - you're getting no pay raise'?

Very strong year but no to low salary hikes/low bonuses. They want ppl to leave the company. They are dictating their own terms and don't want to listen to employees anymore. Something is inherently wrong in their decision making.

You are lucky if you got a 4% hike. Many folks here haven't got any hike here. It's not the same company that it used to be.. The only way to read is that they don't care about employees anymore.

For the folks who know, how to read a 4% raise? My pay is low or I'm a higher performer?

My own 0% hike, low bonus, higher shares

I’m the one personally informing my colleagues of the difficult news. Salary hikes were given to those in lower pay bands, with 55% of higher earners not receiving any increase. The same applies to bonuses. However, there are exceptions for top performers. Shares are up this year due to a delayed payout (obviously).

Idk what you mean by “hike.” Do you mean an increase in your base salary? It’s not abnormal not to get that if you’re already paid fairly based on their market review and compared to your peers. It’s not normal to get no bonus though.

To all the zero hikers... THANK YOU.

Your zero bonus and zero pay hike funded my biggest raise and biggest bonus ever received.

Again, THANK YOU!!!!!

If you got no or low raise/bonus/shares then the funding was allotted to someone else on your team. The message here is they don’t value you and they don’t care if you quit. It could be deserved if you are mediocre or terrible or that your boss just hates you. Either way take the message and decide if you want to work someplace where you’re not wanted or valued. Or keep grifting and ride the paycheck till they lay you off. Merry Christmas!
