Who got the lucky ticket?

How many people were impacted?
Yes I was part of the Tech Control event yesterday. Same playbook read to me but somehow my manager, who is part of an office not in the Tech Control footprint, is not part of the reduction. Mentioned from now ex teammates of mine via a call today. So I will at least explore legal options. Oh and the replacement job req was already in the works since Sept. So blunt example of corporate america.
As someone who was already laid off and knew I wouldn't have to work for WF this Christmas, I'd like to say that it's a blessing in disguise in so many ways. I no longer have constant anxiety about what awaits me the next time I go to work, or not knowing if I can even do my job right because of WAVE / Cloud PC, or whatever being broken. Life after WF is so much better.
I was one who was let go. Not the only one on the team to be. Those left behind will be swamped. And their Xmas PTO plans will have to change as well.
Unless Charlie gets coal in his stocking, (even though he is not necessarily a celebrant of this holiday) we shouldn't have anymore layoffs until mid Feb.
Thank God…enough of the anti sales cr-p!
Sales practices conduct management had displacements today. A handful by my account. Some remote, others in hubs.
Legal may have been included. We were told someone we were working with is gone.
I came from issue and control management before I was let go. Say a prayer for my ex-colleagues if this is true.
Where is the blood bath I was promised? I'm supposed to be bathing in blood people!
Some folks in Issue Management and Control Management received notice today.
You could be right, all I'm saying is give it a day. We'll all know one way or the other, very soon.
I was told today ticket has my name on it. 60 days notice, 401k match, bonus and severance.
True, but if it were a true bloodbath you'd see people posting things like "23 people laid off in XYZ".
It may be. Believe it or not, the top priority of the average person that just lost their job is not to run to this board and post about it.

I thought today was supposed to be a bloodbath?
Impacted groups?
Me. Location strategy, so knew it was coming relatively soon. 60-day non-working notice.
Like the other commenter, I was told I'm still getting my bonus (and 401k match, but that's a given in light of the 12/15 date).
I got the golden ticket this morning. I was told that matching 401k and bonus will still be paid.
I would love it if they decided to displace me after offering relocation. Then I wouldn't have to pay back the $8k net that they already paid me.
