Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Tech issues!

Has anyone noticed some serious technology issues when trying to login? I have to restart my laptop multiple times to connect to the network, the Authenticator app doesn’t register (click approve and it doesn’t connect to sent the approval to my laptop)… and multiple peers have struggled with this all week as well (one has even received a loaner laptop because he was so frustrated). What is going on?!?!??!

I had trouble connecting on VPN until support suggested pulling the USB authentication key until I was completely signed in through the Authenticator app. YMMV.

@5mbp+1vVB8482 - Truth!

They are so kidding themselves with all this tracking b.s.

Fyi - not really for them. They do it for the Tax Credits.

Yup, follow the money, honey. Dat's all its about.

Several people/groups have opened tickets regarding the incredibly slow performance in Outlook… we take it a tremendous amount of time to provide them with very detailed information and everything they’ve asked for however there are never any results whenever someone dives into this effort.

Seems like they just want to amuse us, but they secretly know there’s literally nothing they can do to resolve this issue. It takes forever to send or save an outlook invite. Speaking shortly after they started bringing everyone back to the office and added a bunch of tracking software to our laptops. Which tells me that they are more interested in babysitting adults (who got the bank through the pandemic just fine) over prioritizing efficiency.. and our sanity.

Dec 6 - new VPN MFA requirements went live (think password/token)- perhaps the software was buggy? Timing seems right

Takes 15 min to send or open any invites in Outlook. Been going on for 2-3 years. I just pick up my phone and scroll whenever I have to send an invite because I know it will take forever to unfreeze my laptop. So unproductive but it’s the banks fault and horrible tech issues.

I've had issues logging in as well, very annoying every afternoon when I start working.

The tech connect group told me the new Windows 11 update does not like the boa network and they have to put the new laptops into high performance mode. It’s fixed mine for the most part but still goes in and out from time to time and every update I have to still reboot at least twice.

Ive had no issues. My laptop is incredibly slow and sounds like it's about to take off but I know I'm due for a replacement sometime In January.
