What difference does it make if it's sold or closed? It still means
layoffs doesn't it?
Closure means 100% layoffs.. a few might be offered positions elsewhere.
Sold probably means layoffs, yes, but maybe better prospects going forward.
HOWEVER there may be "plant closing" severance benefits... this may vary by state. This is another reason they'd prefer selling over closing.
The Displays Group in Atlanta is close behind…. signs everywhere.

This is hilarious not sold not closing, growing more than anything. Leadership hasn’t communicated all the things coming but it’s all good news, don’t believe the floor rumors or past disgruntled employees
There is only so much you can cut before you realize you have a business problem good grief. I am just glad the stock price continues to go down because that is all these lizards care about. You can't target outcomes
I feel like there’s been a rumor Greenville “has been sold” every 6 months for the last 10 years…. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong
Rumor is they have already sold
Should know something early next year
Hopefully they aren’t as greedy and incompetent as L3 Harris
If not sold rumor is big layoff by March
Up to 700 employees
I never worked at either place but I would vote for "Sold" over "Closed." They need to raise some cash, and an outright closure would probably be a net loss.
I hope they sell at the rate they are going around at least 2027 both sites will be shut down
Rumor is around late January early February around 500 to 600 from both sites layoffs begin for 2025
Merry Christmas
No. Not a word in Waco.
Heard Sold...not closed
