Then don't put yourself into debt.
Especially when it comes to optional choices such as conventional "higher learning".
Learn via actual real experience on the street/job.
Be an apprentice.
Go to trade school, which takes much less time and money to attend than college, and offers much faster bigger $$ after graduation.
There are many ways to get on the road to financial independence.
Putting yourself into debt from the start, isn't very smart.
