Why is that organization growing and bringing in people from other competitors who are not doing as well as we are?

DW doesn't understand the upstream and can't stand it when others know more about something than he does. His solution to this is to surround himself with people who know even less about the upstream than he does. So much winning.
DW hates the upstream. DW hates his peers who he sees as competitors. He can't stand to give out promotions to those he has competed against over the years in ranking.
