Thread regarding L3Harris Technologies layoffs

HR Shrills and delusional deniers

The RIF nonbeliever and hey sayers are nothing more than company HR shrills and other delusional deniers.
The employees still left at L3H should now know that the RIF Armageddon is very real and should be seeking employment at a stable company and not be misled by these delusional actors, who should be ashamed of themselves for spreading false hope.
No one enjoys a surprise layoff, and these shrills are only harming their fellow employees by the spread of false propaganda promising that everything is fine and not to be afraid. You should be afraid, and be very afraid, if you require employment to survive and do not want to enjoy your next family Christmas dinner supplied by the local food bank.
Clifton, New Jersey, Palm Bay, Malabar and Melbourne, FL should be on the next RIF agenda.
Brace yourself, because this one will shake the company to the core and wise individuals will be out of the line of fire and long gone before this RIF Typhoon hits.
I wish everyone the best in these troubled times.

Thanks for the response HR. You provide proof there’s not going to be layoffs, or you get out of here!
I have an idea why don’t you go back to your office, close the door behind you and reflect on the families that lives have been totally disrupted.
In your logic, that’s only one percent, and one percent is not bad, is it? Well, tell that to the families. What about the other RIFs before this one, and that are coming after, and the small layouts that are done during the week under the radar, what would the total percentage be then? Armageddon, that’s what.
Let’s not even get started on the future building closures. Will there be a warning for those or should we just happily go through our days and not worry about it?
Also by your logic, The layed off should not have been worried about losing their jobs because there was no “proof” that it was coming. Not being concerned may have proven to be a big mistake.
I am concerned for every person that is affected and has their lives torn a thunder by corporate greed, it seems that you may not be. Why don’t you get with the program that helps the employees and try, instead of instilling a sense of misgiven well-being, and a future that is impregnated with Surprise RIFS?

"1% was only in one division. About 50 people. Not 1% of the company."
"1% was not the “Armageddon” everyone was screeching about for the last few months."
Yes true. But when each division lays off 1%, what will the total be?
Currently, the company has about 47,500 employees down from 50,000 before the 5% layoff this past April.
If 1% happens company wide,, that's another 475 people gone with little or no notice. And that's just 1%. Who's to say it won't be more?
All indications are that the CEO got a big "attaboy" for pushing the $1billion cost reduction deadline a year ahead of schedule.
The next round, if they wait until April, will be massive. It will exceed 5% when L3H fulfills it's promise to reduce it's real-estate footprint.
You can wake up and smell the coffee, or just keep sipping the Kool Aid. You'll be drinking it on your way out the door.

“The people screeching about October were right”

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to notice that the last 2 rounds of layoffs were spaced 6 months apart, which would put the next round at April 2025. There’s a difference between posting based on actual info gleaned from people in-the-know and baseless speculation.

1% is 480 jobs....With ZERO Notice. Do they have to ki-l a human baby with a stick before you will stop cheerleading for them? What a MOOK.

The people that you say were screeching were right about october. And they were right for several months. So when they start whispering about April 2025, perhaps you should listen. Maybe the layoff this month was not as bad as everyone said it was going to be but it's a hollow victory, it's kind of like saying you only have a little bit of cancer. It's still bad.

The most recent quarterly report and the enthusiasm over the profits generated by the layoffs should be an indication of the company's path forward. Their company's leadership is seeing a correlation between the layoffs, the money saved, and the value returned to its investors which is its primary focus. This company no longer exists for the war fighter or its employees but rather the stockholders and the upper echelon of leadership. They are enthusiastic about the prospects of meeting their 1 billion dollar savings a year early. The proponents of more layoffs smell blood in the water and the feeding frenzy is on. They may not wait until April 2025. The investors were obviously very happy with the results that came from these job reductions. Space and airborne systems, a bloated and under producing division, is certainly next. With Clifton New Jersey in the crosshairs.

This most recent layoff is a small piece of what is coming in April. It's time to wake up and find a new home., SAS is next.

Proof or get lost.

1% was not the “Armageddon” everyone was screeching about for the last few months.

The point of this site being anonymous is to actually share real information that proves you have credible information (without fear of retaliation). If you can’t supply that, you’re just a doomsday troll that finds it amusing to rile people’s anxieties. No better than conspiracy theorists on TikTok.
