Granulate’s fate uncertain amid Intel layoffs, less than three years after $650M acquisition

Less than three years after being acquired by Intel for $650 million, the future of Granulate is uncertain. Intel is set to lay off hundreds of employees in Israel in the coming week, and it remains to be seen how many from Granulate will be among them.

Always happy to see layoffs in Israel. Downside is that they may vent by burning villages.

@zof have you looked at the financial situation at Intel?

It boggles the mind that you would even suggest bidding for AMD and Nvidia. AMD is literally almost 3 times bigger than Intel and Nvidia is 35x bigger.

Get a clue.

Why buy some unknown company in the AI space? If Intel is buying an AI company, why not make a bid for NVDA or AMD directly? Jensen or Lisa Su would have made a far better choice to lead DCAI.
