I've heard from a mid senior level manager that there are layoffs coming Thursday. Unsure of how many. Salary and Hourly both included in the RIF. Good luck everyone.

Heard they were firings not layoffs? Tied to mischarging time to a 130 program. Only one I know of here in Gvl is Call?

There was a list, I’m told, of people being let go. I did not see the list first hand but was told by my coworker that he was shown the list since he will be letting go of a couple of people.
They have 116 open jobs just in GVL alone, when I was let RIF'd they brought in 3 new engineers that Monday and I was RIF'd on Thursday. I was only head count as I was not considered an engineer.
L3Harris does not inform anyone of a layoff because of inherent paranoia. They don't want you to get near a computer where you might delete something or do some other damage. And they sure don't want you talking to anyone on the way out. They assume none of their employees can be trusted and that they are, in fact, the enemy within. Ever since the merger in 2019, the organization has had a distrust of all employees it acquired through mergers and acquisitions. Maybe because they themselves can't be trusted. It takes a criminal to assume all others are criminals.
I'm told Clifton as well. 10/30 . Management only. Planning and manufacturing engineers. No hourly people affected this time.

It would be considerate for L3Harris to provide advance notice of impending layoffs. Unfortunately, they tend to inform employees on the day of the layoff without any prior warning. It might be time to consider moving on from L3Harris and seeking better opportunities elsewhere. At this point all we have are rumors which mostly seem to come true!

Of course there is not any proof. But at least this rumor, or truth, will expire in 3 days instead of 3 weeks.
