The idea that the results of the election are going to have anything to do with layoffs at L3 Harris is wishful thinking for too many people. L3 Harris is on its own path to destruction because of mismanagement and four leadership. Whoever takes the seat in the oval office is not going to help or hinder L3 harris. As employees concerned about layoffs, and that's the only reason we should visit this site, we should focus on our immediate leadership and what they are telling us. And of course, try to determine if they are being truthful or not. Anyone that has spent any time with this changing company could read the writing on the wall. The company is run by a board of directors. That is it. They determine the future for the employees. And now, the focus for L3 Harris is on its investors and or stakeholders and that is all. Employees are merely livestock to be traded fired and dismissed as needed. As the leadership pursues a $1 billion dollar cost savings over the next 3 years, it is a foregone conclusion this will mean future job reductions. Because of persistent quality issues, it really doesn't matter who is in the white house. What matters, is that the defense department will need more reliable contractors than L3 Harris has been. But that's just my two cents. I could be wrong. But, let's try to stay on topic of this site. The site is called the layoff.com. let's stick to the topic at hand and leave the politics to the social media toilet where it belongs.
