FME25 is now being called FME25+. Looks like the cuts are continuing with a confirmation of layoffs coming. Some are speculating 50% of IT will be cut as they outsource the labor to Cognizant in August. This one will hit deep. It is sad they can't figure out how to grow the company and are relying on more and more cuts to improve the earnings.
20% of the domestic IT staff got layed off this week. More cuts to come
Well they’re doing them all right now to clean the books before the new fiscal year and Helen is cutting a lot people to hit her FME 25 initiative. Each depart needs to cut at least one. Most of the ones that happened this week were higher level folks and they will be staying on until the end of the year. It’s seems at though the plan is to get it all done in 2024 and Helen can get on the first earnings call of 2025 and tell the street how much we’ve saved.
