Everyone is so eager to watch train wrecks, the small facts become exaggerated headlines of fail-po-n. Yes, "some" targeted restructuring, but not wholesale shutdown. That happened with the last attempt at ERP at Ford (project Everest) resulting in a $300Mish write off. Don't wish for that again. Support your colleagues and get it done!

Good! That was a failed project from the start. The amount of money wasted on it and given to consultants is borderline criminal. They came in and were even trying to tell Ford how to be structured on top of trying to implement a company wide ERP.
Glad to hear the Titanic finally hit the iceberg on that one.
