Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Good Luck…

For the Avayan’s left, I wish you luck but it will be over soon for you all unless whoever is buying Avaya keeps you on.

As for AM, maybe you made more money but your legacy is tainted.

PD you have just proved you only care about money and not the people that helped build a company, because you obviously didn’t help to build Avaya but will get paid..

After 55 years in telecommunications starting with the Bell System, Avaya in total disregard for those of us who built the business, including the installed base. With less than only 8 hours notice and no explanation i was terminated on July 13. I have been looking for a new job since and now realized no one is going to hire a 73 year old man. My plan was to work until age 75 to pay off the mortgage on our home. After working all those years the boredom now is going to ki-l me. Perhaps if the severance pay was adequate it would be easier for me to move on. Unfortunately the option at my age are non-existent.

Patrick Dennis?
Sounds like the lead in a made-for-tv movie that bubbled up out of obscurity like gas in a swamp, only to disappear again leaving nothing but a noxious odor behind...

Ahh, Patrick Dennis, who comes to Avaya '...with a proven track record'. Didn't / Don't they all 😂 I wonder having 'departed' Avaya, these CxO's still claim an unblemished 'proven track record', despite their abject failure with Avaya 🤔
The CEO placeholder background (https://www.avaya.com/en/about-avaya/) should have a photo of a revolving door!
