Intrado to take over 911 in Florida and Georgia?

I was told by an Intrado employee that they were close to signing a contract with both Georgia and Florida for cloud hosted systems in which each state would have one central location, thus eliminating individual county or city 911 centers. He also said they would be managing and maintaining the center’s. Just curious if anyone else has heard this ?

Sounds like intrado would be a good fit for me. They’re growing! Where do I apply?

I am a A.E. in the Atlanta area (who knows for how long!) we have been told that PSAPS state wide will fall under GEMA. There has been talk in our group that they would centralize to one center, shifting cost from individual counties to the state.
