Goodbye Nigeria

Not long now for the sale to be finalized for the Nigerian Deepwater assets. Been some good days with Nigeria but many bad days

Surprised we didn’t divest all of Nigeria after the fuel issues a few years ago.

Mobil House (which was actually leased back, after it was sold with the Downstream organisation who was the landlord) and Black Diamond yes. Gone.
Mobil Court don't know. There are still some expats there milking the cow until the last drop... 😀

So is that goodbye to Mobil House, Mobil Court and Black Diamond?

What's sold is EM 40% share in the JV with NNPC operating shallow water fields (historical h.Mobil assets).
The deepwater fields (Erha and the likes) are not (yet?) for sale.

The sale is only for the JV. Deep water will be retained.

Fantastic. Now we can stop forcing token Nigerians up the mgmt chain and focus on Guyanese. This place is a joke.

Too much corruption. Good riddance.

Deepwater Nigeria was one of the gems. I thought we were only getting out of the JV in shallow water. Will be strange with only Angola and Mozambique in Africa.
