“Resume Pre-Covid Routine” 5 Day RTO BS

Susan Johnson/Jason Porter just sent out a “Resume Our Precovid Routines” beginning January 6th, 2025. All levels return 5 days a week. No thought to inadequate office space. No thought to teams not working in the same office and jumping on Team’s calls anyway. No thought to performance metrics. The whole emailed smelled of bullsh-t.

I think this thread needs like eight more replies saying "good. I was TW before covid. Can I go back to it."

Its so insightful.

Thank goodness I was able to retire in 2021! This is totally crazy what is going on. I really feel sorry for my past work colleagues. I've talked to a few and they indicate it's not pretty and rumor is another 30-34% reduction before the Stink is done. Good luck!

Pre-Covid Susan Johnson org was def NOT 5 days a week. 19th floor was empty most Fridays and some Mondays too.

The blatant nature of these mass emails by leaders show how they fall in line with Stankey. Every single one has sh-t on their hands.

What a bunch of whiners. Plenty of young people to take your place when you leave.

Come on folks, dont you remember what the StinkyStank and our great HR org told us to do? “Live your designation.”

This will go down as the stupidest phrase ever!

Before Covid I was TW status. Does that mean I’m going back to that?

Pre covid I was FTW. But I came in 2 days per week anyways. I had an assigned desk. There was flexibility in my schedule, no presence reports, no 8hr mandate. We could Flex Time if we wanted. We had freedom for things like offsite lunches with colleagues.

So yes, let’s go back to pre-covid rules. I think we would all accept that as fair.

"I hadn’t been in an office for over 12 years! "

This is why they should actually go back to pre-covid but they know they cant now because of the location based RTO bs. I was full time 5 days pre-covid and didn't have to worry about finding parking or a desk. Everything worked fine. I don't mind going back to that. I don't want to go back to what we are about to have to deal with though.

Fighting for desks and parking is not professional and it's a complete joke.

Pre-Covid I had my own assigned desk and could actually leave for lunch with peers because there would be parking spots when we got back

Why all the shock about the 5 day RTO announcements?

The Stink wants as many people to leave without paying them any severance, so Stink cares not if there no office space, no TP in the restrooms, no team members in the same location.

Stink got his name for the smell of BS. So you got it!
