Belk is spending tens of thousands of dollars on a fancy executive Christmas party in a VIP suite at the stadium. While stores can’t offer the basics to our customers like more than 2 registers, proper air conditioning in the summer and heat in the winter, clean carpets, sanitized restrooms and fitting rooms . Belk’s executives are sipping expensive wine and living the good life at panthers stadium.

Store manager who cares. What a joke. Maybe cares about the wrong things. Any company that has such little regard for their associates feelings is a joke. Nobody can tell someone how to feel.

Those x-mas party pictures show the huge disconnect between corporate and the stores. Very sad that Belk has evolved into this mess.

This type of egregious spending is simply unacceptable. We as managers don’t have the payroll or petty cash to offer our associates a pizza party or staff the store, and corporate is throwing a huge, costly, Christmas party at the stadium? What is really going on here? Why can’t they have a Christmas party at a restaurant like the rest of us? Or rent a banquet room? We all need to protest this disgusting behavior and say enough is enough, I know some of you all are against protesting, but sometimes that’s the only way to get your message across. This has reached a new level of craziness.

- know the corporate visual team had a big blow out on December 18!....I'm not sure what they have to celebrate....
Anyone know what the cost is to rent the suite at the stadium?
