Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

How to stay alive after ExxonMobil in Brazil?

I've been trying to leave this daily mental struggle for years now, to no avail. Being a 40+ yrs old professional in a shithole county like Brazil is the equivalent to being a death row inmate. Hundreds of resume/cv submissions, dozens of self funded trainings to reskill, just a waste of time. XOM is the worst stain I could ever had associated with. It's like you've been tagged with a life threatening disease seal by the other companies. Soon you'll heard my name, one last time, in a bereavement card. Just don't trust their words, XOM never appreciates their people. Curitiba is the land of fake people.

If you give in, you let XOM Execs win. For you and your family, take care of yourself. A job is just a job, not worth the high worth of your life. We all have our low points, but seek connections to help you improve your situation.

Hey! Seek for help, think about your loved ones. Now... That Curitiba and other GBC locations are full of sick and fake people, yeah, you nailed that one. Stay well.
