Sure, I get that some people don’t get raises. A lot of us, actually. But my boss didn’t even communicate anything to me at all this year. Did anyone else not even get told anything about their salary next year, or is it just me??

If your raise is "zero" the company is not obligated to inform you that it was zero. You can always ask but you already know the answer.
So if you get 0%, are they not obligated to communicate that?
Dudes, Exxon is totally sc--wed up. Just leave. Life is better outside. There is nothing left here. Even in BTC employees are treated like sh-t. And BTC is supposed to be the future of this corporation. Just leave. You'll be a lot happier. Exxon is dead.
CL curves are based on market comparison not inflation.
My raise was near 0%. I was told this is because of my age and CL curve.
CL pay curves should increase annually by the amount of annual inflation to remain current - unless trying to systematically push everyone down in pay such that we all give up and leave.
If you are a zero you need to ask. They only tell the ones who are getting a raise. They are scared of the confrontation and response.
I got told my 0% on zoom. Took all of about 10 seconds, no explanation or context.
Recognition and respect in the company is now rock bottom. Leaving in '25 like a few others have indicated.
I had to ask for mine as the sup did not want to tell me. I noticed everyone else walking around with their post its. I asked and was told oh ok surprised. My supervisor is trash because instead of writing a nice thank you for the hard work I got just a number in marker on my post it. It was explained to me that I was a high CL and was expected to work hard and needed to work harder next year so I could merit a raise. They have no leverage on me at this point. I performed excellent last year and was ranked good. There was no reason for my zero raise except I am older and will leave in a few years.
If you didn’t get communication on raise and feedback then your boss is a coward.
Too many bad supervisors. There is no mechanism to identify them. They just coast along bullying and doing subversive things until their next promotions.
Make them accountable to giving you real and substantiated explanations. My only regret is that I didn’t stand up for myself more.
Incidentally, only 1 out of my last 10 supervisors were any good. Most were duds with no skills. It’s a sinking ship if not for a few NRE and dedicated individuals still around.
Supervisors should be communicating salary treatments to all of their employees, even ones receiving 0%, with one exception. If you are an expat and your home country has a different salary treatment schedule, you’ll receive the communication in line with the rest of your home country. If you simply didn’t receive a communication because you got 0%, that’s cowardice on the part of your supervisor.
