Ford is moving virtually all jobs they had through their Percepta vendor to Ford of Mexico. The CRC, OTA, and warranty will all be moved. Percepta just did a bunch of layoffs and there are whole departments that have been notified.

Houston and Melbourne will be effected.
CRC is the Customer Relation Center and OTA is Over the Air updates. Percepta is owned by Ford, but Ford will save millions shifting the jobs to Ford of Mexico. Ford is eliminating a lot of American jobs. Last year, the axe came on Percepta programs moving to Mexico on Jan 3. It'll happen at any the same time this year.
Melbourne or Houston?
Reminds me of Edsel owning Marketing Associates (new name now) and then having contracts with FoMoCon and taking a cut of agency staffing. Family has its hand in the till. Seems that is exempt from Conflict of Interest training.
Percepta employees are Agency people. Ford owns Percepta.
Are these salaried positions? What policy are they using?

OTA is Over The Air updates
CRC is customer relations center. Ford Credit Customer service about to fire many and those jobs will go to more Mexico teams as soon as they are out of training period. Look for week of Jan 6th for those layoffs.
