Seems to me the 2-week recharge is code for polish your resume because you'll need to use it soon. BNY has a great record for hiring good talent and then ushering them out the door. The good news is, it will add years to your life for those that are fortunate enough to escape, either by force or choice.

That’s not true.
Unlikely in my opinion.
I equate it to the Mafia who win and dine you before they “let you go.” This is what the recharge period is.
