"That’s most of us in the company."
in what proportion?
also who is actually doing the work?
Scammers scamming everywhere they go
“ obtain wealth through the stock options granted them as part of their compensation.”
That’s most of us in the company.
Look into what you are saying.
There were a few “Indians” we worked with who were actually Iranians.
And check out some “Indian” restaurants that serve beef off the menu (ask the waiter rather than rely on the menu), you would find many are Pakistani.
Make sure you are blaming the right people.
The executives not just of IBM, but many other public companies, obtain wealth through the stock options granted them as part of their compensation.
While this is supposed to align their interests with those of the company, it also distorts management decisions and rewards short -term thinking.
This is partly responsible for the rot that set in with American business beginning in the 1970’s, with economist Milton Freidman’s declaration that the sole purpose of a company is to increase shareholder value.
The executives’ thinking now is to get personally rich as quickly as possible, and not to create lasting value. It the “I got mine, sc--w you” mentality.
No one knows what tomorrow will bring, after all.
