Don't Spend Another Year At a Job You H@TE

In 2025, it's time to stop settling for second best.

If you secretly dislike your job, then quit.

Or if you've decided working for someone isn't your thing anymore, then finally start that business.

Just don't keep waiting or delaying.

The time is now. None of us are getting any younger. The quicker you face the reality the faster the comeback you can make in your new career.

Make 2025 the year of growth.

Agree?

Most T employees are not employable once they are laid off. They have no skill set, nothing to offer another employer.

Leeches are hard to get rid of at T. You have to burn leeches off to detach.

Disagree.

Waiting for layoff and severance.

Will not cave in.

You have to be living under a rock to not know getting employees to quit without a severance is the outcome they seek. It’s why the game of relocating/RTO and living your destination became a thing, of course nothing in writing that you won’t be caught up in the next relocation plan or layoff right after the move or assist in the move.

To use these tactics is disingenuous on their part and what has made many employees so frustrated or angry. It’s leadership’s way to subvert it being brought to more public light and be accountable for all the bad business decisions that caused the massive reduction in the workforce of 281,000 employees to nearly half since 2019. They have been meeting financial guidance by reductions and selling of assets, not through growth or innovation. Now the 40 billion dollar stock buyback is another slap in the face to employees who are at risk of losing their jobs and for the company instead, of paying down debt or growing R&D for new products.

The shills have gotten smarter and are just encouraging the outcome they want instead of defending their employer. Lay us off, cowards.
