People do what the others do just quit and then get hired back. They will hire you back and give you a better position and more money...

It will probably happen soon with some ones who take early retirement or higher ups that get laid off when oil prices go up
Couldn't tell you how many people i've seen do this exact same thing quit and come back a few months later in a higher position making twice as much.
Honestly -- why would you? That company is so dysfunctional, anywhere else will be an improvement. At this point I wouldn't go back no matter how much money they throw at me...
