Mary Lee, CEOs live on the image they project. When you see a leader who smokes or is overweight, those being led by that individual feels the person lacks basic discipline. Do yourself a favor and hire an image enhancer who will help you which in turn will pay benefits in many ways. And take Caroll with you.

That is a nice summary of accomplishments for the past few years.
She leads the company to ruin, she looks the other way while employees are abused into therapy and out of a job, she oversees the destruction of a once great company, she accepts the mantle of leadership but has no clue of how she can lead the company to relevance, she does all this and you find fault with her appearance? Would you prefer Marisa Mayer (Yahoo CEO)? How about Meg Whitman? Would you prefer a movie directed by Angelina Jolie over one done by Rosanne Barr? Fix your priorities. Her appearance is one of the least objectionable things about her.

As much as you hate to hear this, Carol is the only one left that has any idea how to run a profitable retail company.
