BHI cost cutting vs. business as usual

With all of the cutting of personnel and general costs taking place, are there any BHI entities still attending and paying for conferences which should be delayed until after the takeover by HAL?

You are correct as far as the core critical businesses that must keep operating effectively through the transition, but not for non core, ineffective, and dysfunctional businesses that will ultimately be sold off or closed down by HAL.

The biggest problem that I've seen so far, is cutting so much that it's reflecting negatively on the company. We are having issues meeting the customer needs in Permian because we can't order parts etc. we actually had to replace all field techs that got laid cause the customer threatened to take their business elsewhere. Management wants to cut people and services that are under contract that we provide. That's the problem I see.
