Do you know if we'll have massive RIFs if we merge with Heinz? I am sure there will be some duplication on the marketing side, product side, finance, HR, shared services, back office, Marketing, etc. What are you thoughts? Layoffs in 2015?

I worked for Heinz and they slashed us through and through. If I were you I would leave before you have to deal with working with them.
Yep. Just got word we are looking at approximately 3,759 in layoffs.
Of course there will be layoffs. It's a question of when and what areas. Look what happened when Kraft bought Nabisco? When Kraft spun off. History repeats itself.
I would be concerned with Private Equity calling some of the shots here. They love to lay people off.
