If you haven't been presented with your severance package yet, do not sign anything. You will be pressured into accepting a meager severance that does not include continuing healthcare benefits. Have the severance proposal reviewed by a lawyer or employment law expert. Each of you have enough information about the business practices that the threat of potential litigation will likely result in you being offered a better severance package. Do not let this company streamroll you on your way out.

they offerend us in saint louis one more week of pay through next friday and then a crappy severance.
Severance is not mandatory. You have no leverage. Those laid off earlier get better deals. Speaking from multiple sad experiences.....
