How long do you get to keep your insurance after being laid off??

Make sure you get all your paperwork completed and document everything. P&A group is handling this. All my paperwork has been sent in and now the insurance company said my insurance expires wednesday. P&A group said my insurance is paid thru the month of april. Now I have to deal with hr , the insurance company and P&A group. Neither one of them knows what the other one is doing. Good luck!
1 month. Then they are supposed to send you info on keeping it. BUT, I was laid off the 3rd of March. Paperwork sent me said 17th of march. Got it on Sat 28th of March and only have til April 1st to decide if I want to keep it going, which in my opinion 2 days is not enough time to decide. But it is what it is.
