Suddenly Stupid Syndrome Hits Course Materials

The repeated failures of course materials centralization have not deterred the army of window lickers (read; VP legion) at the home office whom, having heard Google became wealthy through the mastering of algorithms, decided to press ahead with their plans to -create- redundancies in the CMM field by forced automation. The phrase 'Suddenly Stupid Syndrome" has been used before with great alacrity in describing the forcing out of talented individuals, and it's increasingly obvious that the next step is likely to be another pogrom, this time affecting those dedicated to course materials decision making. Tasks that were part of one's core job competencies now arrive in automated emails with poorly formatted excel spreadsheet files demanding blind compliance. You aren't executing the policy to the letter? Your RM will know about it, and god help you then! Every single time automation has been foisted on the stores, it has failed. It's like watching someone force a square peg through a round hole with a hammer while they congratulate themselves at how clever they are. And it's the same people time and time again. The only way this could be even more absurd would be if they started going after people for not using the new TPS report covers...Oh, wait, they already did that recently with the new signature standards that deviated from the OLD signature standards by the replacement of dashes by periods. It is like watching an endless circle jerk of brain-dead morons high-fiving one another for setting fire to the building they're all standing in, isn't it?
