If you are so sure Heald is so great, that there is a buyer and that it is NOT closing, then why are you on the Heald forum on a site called "the Layoff"? You should find the forum for delusional mental midgets, like you all apparently are. I say we use this forum to take Heald down from every angle, report and share all the BS going on and do the right thing!

536 that was a thoughtful and sincere answer. I know the job market is tough, especially in California and for Heald employees who may be qualified for little else. That being said sometimes being laid off and not being able to do the same thing is a gift. Life is short and it is good to have a job that you value and can enjoy. It is a good time to learn a new skill or go back to school (a real one) or start a business or whatever will take you were you want to go.This is an opportunity to find a new way to live and make a living.
I have answers, which you may be disappointed to find are my opinions. I agree with you about exposing all the bs. So, you go first. State clearly the exact bullshit you have witnessed, and then explain how to use that to take Heald down. Then the next person goes, then the next, and so on... I don't have any personal examples to share, but I would if I did. I'm all for it in theory, but how does the practical application work? How does a minion at the campus level do the right thing? What is the right thing? Quit my job with no prospects on the horizon (believe me, I've checked)?? Seppuku???
