Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

Anyone didn't get their last bi-weekly pay and severance due today from Baker?

HR WILL NO ANSWER THE PHONE OR RETURN PHONE CALLS. Thinking about getting legal help.

Released Feb 2nd. Have received bonus, but not severance. After contacting HR by email, they responded by email saying the severance would be paid 03/06...that did not happen.

Releases from duty Feb 4, promised payment of the WARN Act on the next pay cycle.

This WARN Act is a federal law. I haven't received that payment or severance as of yet. Almost time to contact the labor board and such.

You know on the agreement it does not state when they are meant to pay. So that means they can pay you whenever they want and that can be months from now. it will be a waste to get legal help as long as you signed the form, which doesnt have a time frame as to when you will get paid. so basically they get away with it because of that.

Received bonus today (6th), no severance.

Was told by HR in writing and phone, severance would be deposited 03/06.

Will give them to Monday, then begin searching for an attorney. Maybe "class action" is in order.

I think we are all in the same boat. But it is Friday morning here in Houston and past history even with Payroll was to send out the direct deposits Friday night. So I would wait until at least Saturday and check your bank account for activity. Then if something doesn't show up.... then pull the trigger ( figuratively) with the legal assistance. Good Luck to all
