There's quite a bit of speculation here which may or may not be true, but WARN is real and relevant here

Minnesota had a low employment rate! 😢
This makes me feel a bit better. If worst case is 60 days still on payroll and then 6 week severance package, that's 3.5 months to find a new job before taking the hit in pay on unemployment. Luckily MN has a low unemployment rate.
This law firm specializes in breaches of WARN - if a few of us reach out to them they would consider applying pressure: http://www.girardgibbs.com/
My understanding is 45 days is paid out as usual, I.e. Biweekly and 60 days is a lump sum
Is the WARN + severance given as a lump sum? Or paid out bi-weekly as normal?
The 60 days on payroll is WARN. It's not negated.
Exactly - they typically give 9 weeks = 63 days = no WARN problems.
Isn't that why they give 60 days + additional severance to departing tm's to cover the 60 day part.
*negate
If they provide you with 60 days on payroll, like they did with US based Canada tms, this would negated WARN.
