Thread regarding Heald College layoffs

What is this innovation that is mentioned in so many posts? Is innovation bound to many mid-managers who make an awful lot of money?

And why, oh why, do you mention the same ole stale talking points?

  1. What is this elitism that is spoken of?

  2. Are state schools beneath most people?

  3. Is privatization the best?

  4. What exactly is a silver spoon - the brand new Lexus so many students drive?

Innovation is the place where passion, vision, and determination meet. It might Tim Cook changing the face of time forever, Tom Brady causing a team of overwhelmed believers to achieve the impossible, or a Heald faculty member getting students to see what education can be. That is Heald innovation--Healdovation, if you will. Like our students, I cannot wait to see what is next...

According to another poster, it's heaven, no it's the shiny halls of Heald, no it's the place with no toilet paper, no it's the only chance to go into debt in the shortest amount of time possible

Innovation is about creating money at any cost and making it seem like it's essential

Innovation is ripping off students and tax payers year after year and getting away with it! Go Heald!
