They could care less about their people. They get rid of those who have been loyal for YEARS. Thanks for your service, here's your last check.. good luck!

Jerry Rivera can clean the toilets. He's used to wiping other peoples asses anyways
Highly doubt it. Who else is going to clean the toilets?
Are we gonna have more layoffs?
yeah... bad business
Business as usual
That's a shame that they would lay people off....destroy their income and pride they had in the company only to call them back, apologize and then ask them to come back. What kind of organization operates in this fashion? Is this how out of touch SAE has become? Like I've always said on this site in the very beginning when the layoffs went down. The Aussies came over to HQ.....didn't like what they saw and with a knee jerk reaction without consulting the campuses came up with a list of those who should stay and those who would go. You just don't make business decisions in this fashion. Not a so called professional organization which you claim you are.
Yes. And finally coming to their senses and trying to get back more people.
They laid off the compliance person and then brought her back?
Same old, same old. I've been here for years and through 3 management teams. The unfortunate thing is we were never this much in the red. SAE is bleeding money. I'm sorry, we cannot survive in these major cities with 200 student enrollments.
I'm with you. Not only for Expression, but SAE as well. They are completely clueless as to what they are doing. And now, the only people that they have somewhat running the show are a CFO who's barely been here, the HR Director who does not know anything about our business let alone HR! and they brought back the Compliance lady. They have NO SENSE on what to do or are they doing. This is a complete mess.
Yes, I knew that SAE sucked long before they bought Expression College. But, now when I see what they have done to expressiion, I get angry. They fired all the wrong people and didn't hire anyone to do their jobs, so now either the job doesn't get done or the staff remaining can't do all the extra heavy load thrown at them. They just came in and swept out the door the CEO, Compliance, the Deans and Vice President of Finance. Critical people for the survival of the school. And now, they struggle....duh!!!!
I am not alone when I say I am looking for other work. I'm a good teacher, but I can no longer count of this school to grow and prosper. One of my teaching buddies left the school yesterday and most of us are not far behind. I really feel sorry for the students, they suffer most with this SAE purchase.
