SM was praised for pushing the Atheros deal. That did not add much to QC bottom line. Maybe he can pull another one, in acquiring another high profile company… like AMD. That will take some pressure off him.

SM is definitely not fit to be CEO.

@ 91770: SM should resign? Yeah, well that's not going to happen. It's not going to happen because the employees collectively own a minority of the total outstanding QCOM shares, and are a bunch of sheeple who don't have the balls to turn the next "all hands" meeting into a protest, and walk out en masse--which is about the only way SM would get the message from the peasants in engineering. But DO enjoy venting....

This is utter BS....QUALCOMM was the only company in the last decade....not to have layoffs...the fear of layoff is always hanging on the engineers of companies like AMD.... it was great stress free environment...not anymore since last two years and that's why people are posting stuff on this site....the "fear of layoff" is very detrimental to people's morale..... Qualcomm has to do things which changes this fear.... writing meaningless platitude is useless...

Part of the problem is Stephen Mollenkopf....he is not fit to be CEO , Paul was better and he should have let SM to leave and join Microsoft.... ;-(

This meaningless unrelated sentence that you keep posting is not funny anymore. At least come up with something new or funny.
