I do not want to believe management have a list of who will be cut next. Has anyone heard of such list?

I would like to congratulate the prior managers comment on the very brief explanation about one of many lists. This clearly demonstrates less information would better your position. A fair and non-discriminatory list is “last hired first layed off”. The list you described can be altered at will. The manager acknowledges the ability to discriminate people on the list by applying more training to whom they deem worthy behind closed doors or after work sessions. This manager is clearly demonstrating a non-responsibility reflex stating he or she is only following direction (this is discrimination). Hitler had a list, and these types of lists create a fascist totalitarian state. Combining all these lists completes the New Bank of America Black Book similar to the Sonderfahndungsliste Of Nazi Germany and the death camps. I'm a manager and there's always a list. I have to make one and my boss makes one and on up the chain it goes. If there are layoffs I usually know about a month in advance

Agreed. There is a list. And if you ask too many questions, disagree or challenge a process or anything; rest assured you are on a list. If you haven't been able to move around in the company and you are well qualified, you are for sure on a list. If you are getting up in age, you are on a list. If you have caught on to their crazy games, you are on a list. They want young and dumb and ' yes people'. Anything beyond that , you are on a list. Good luck. I'm going to wear short and tight show my boobs and wear six inch heels and sleep with someone. I'll be sure to get on a different type of list.
