A week ago, I was told i was laid off. At the same table (along with 20 other HP employees) i was given a letter to sign if i wanted to stay. If i signed this NOW, adecco (modus) were going to take me on to work the same job and I would get an offer letter. This was rescinded the next Monday due to legal matter's. This is coming back soon fellow HP ers. This will affect 120,000 of us and VERY soon.

I will be joining Adecco 8/15. I am a telworker and will see if I last past separation.
So this 120k number - are you saying everyone of those will have to re-interview or something along that line?
Offer in. A fraction of my current psy. Can no longer afford to work here. A decade of work down the tube. What they don't know is I'm the 1st to get an offer here and all my employees know about it. They are about to see 100 refusals of these low baller offers. This is about to get interesting.

So what does this mean? They take you from HP, and plug you into adecco at 50% of what you were paid by HP. Genius! Corporate greed, burn in hell.
