Reasons for Allscripts Downfall

  1. Buggy Buggy products ......The development team in India sucks and this has been admitted too by the CEO India himself in town hall meeting.The clients hate the products. Too many hot fixes has ruined the product.The VP and director of development in India are good for nothing. The VP keeps bossing around and touring while the company is cash starved.

2.Good and experienced people have already left the company and the remaining good were fired by the stupid management ..Now only people left are ass lickers and inexperienced bunch of crooks who are good for nothing.

  1. Frustrated clients - Clients are frustrated and there are too many tickets in the backlog and with reduced headcount I wonder whos gonna take of the shit left behind. Most of the customers are already looking for alternatives.

4.Poor quality of support - Its okay if you do not have a good product but its worse to have a bad support. Allscripts has both of them ,Feather in the cap I would say.

5.Lazy ass Indian Management --Seriously I have not seen so many Idle people in a single company ..There are so many f***ing managers roaming around that out of every three people in India one is a manager.Indian managers lack work ethics. They do not even know how to talk to subordinates .Most of them are rude and arrogant and even after several complaints no one does anything about them, That is why managers who have been accused or sexual harassment are still in the company and get promoted too

6.Poor policies and pathetic HR--If you ask Indian HR deptt what is 1 +1 the answer would be 0 ..Yes they follow this logic.I have not seen so many dumb people before. They do not even know the policies and if you are going to them to address your issues then forget about it. One of the managers is constantly looking at the ceiling when you are talking to him and it looks like he is always high.

7.Nepotism and favourism -If you want to get promoted in Indian and want good hikes because you know you lack technical and professional skills then just praise your managers. If you are good ass licker then chances are very high that you would be promoted every year no matter how bad as a performer you are. This is 100 % true and happens in every team and yes if I am some manager and there is a good looking girl in my team then chances are very high that she will be promoted very soon because the managers are perverts. I have seen a girl becoming Expert consultant in just three years ...WOW she must be really hard working. Others have identified that girl as an average performer.

Good luck to the all the remaining people who are still there. And for all those all lickers. You will not find a job outside once Allscripts kicks you out so be prepared the clock is ticking. Your time will come too do not worry . Karma is a bitch it will get you.

Allscripts s—s big time ! The comment above that they fired the good employees is absolutely right the company is incapable of seeing who is doing good work and who can be a potential long term good hire.

Managers and directors alike not just in India but in US are a bunch of lazy people whose only work is being a POSTMAN and forwarding messages. They don't know any work themselves and neither they make any attempt to get better at learning the products they manage !!!

They lay off every year in every geography. For no reason they lay off, you have good performance and you worked your butt off oh well you may get laid off

HR is a joke . company internal politics is so high that you will never know when someone will cut your roots and walk off. there is immense tension between product managers and developers as prod managers keep complicating the already complicated product and ask for the moon every release

This is one company where QA engineers rule over developers the directors create an artificial tension between the devs and QAs by giving QA too much power who them keep asking devs to fix bugs till the very end creating unnecessary stress for developers.

QA act like the bosses in dev team even though in this company none of them can write even few lines of code ..the relative higher no of QA in a team allows them enough time to start putting their minds to unnecessary politics

i dont say its absent anywhere else...it is there but i am talking about the percentage of it ...its very high @ Allscripts ...very very high indeed..I have worked in 5 different companies and never seen such a pathetic management before..

Find me one company here in India where nepotism is absent? I hear your frustration, I agree with you 1000% but some things are just 'normal' such is nepotism, sycophants are rampant, etc.
