It was announced last week. They announced the revision to discount the buy back 25 % this week. Even with the discount many folks will still be paying taxes on money they didn't earn when you include the social security. It would have been simpler for them to just not pay for the time off one agreed to be furloughed. I suspect non-voluntary furloughs will be announced by month's end.
