OMG,
Team Nolan concedes. You have convinced me that the future for my wife and children is bleak without a degree from UoP. How soon can I start?
....and this my friends is how University of Phoenix collects 4,020,258,000 in federal revenue every year. No worries though. Only 3,700,000,000 of that comes from federal tax dollars. (that's right folks, it's BILLIONS each year) No other college comes close. No other college reaches the billion dollar mark.
Furthermore, That's billions of dollars worth of "roadblocks to their definitions of success" that UoP has identified. That's awesome! What's your graduation rate again, OMG?
You win. Pain poked. I am a Phoenix! (Please don't tell anyone).
Team Nolan -- Overcoming objections? You mean, providing resourceful information? Information that would better equipt any person to make informed decisions? Supporting someone through their objections, being able to provide solutions and create a plan with them....not for them. If this is what you mean by "overcoming objections" then yes. Overcoming objections plays a role in understanding potential road blocks that would prevent someone from reaching their definition of success. Furthermore, these methods are
probably adopted into many other organizations that provide quality service to their customers.
Diskey Wick? Lol and shartbarf.
Poke the pain!
OMG,
Is that "overcoming objections" you are using? You skipped "feel, felt, found" Rmapser, dig 7 layers, find motivation, and our favorite "poke the pain." What gives?
You are clearly working for UoPs social media clean up team, and clearly not a Phoenix grad. I want your job!
Compliance would be on those types of conversations like flies on %#*t so I really doubt that any of the negative remarks are even valid. There are credible online sites used to establish reasonable salary estimates such as onetonline.org which are encouraged to use and help individuals get an idea of market relevancy. Keep the popcorn coming!
Hell yeah! Go Nolan go!!!
It's all about getting students in class--we were required to 'mind map' a student and find their motivation. This school is a scam and it will continue to contract until it's an online only school. I'm so happy I got out three months now.
I worked there for a while and know exactly what they're talking about. Go through the RMPSR layers, dig deep to find the real motivation, then poke the pain. Terrible place.
@diskey your training and practices are apparently a substantial deviation from the norm. Enrollment reps in my area are required to use "mind maps" and follow somewhat of a script (SSP) for the purpose of getting potential students to share their weaknesses and vulnerabilities in order to exploit them. Also, Phoenix Career Guidance relies on selective data (that does not apply in most cases to the typical UOP student ) to demonstrate job availability and future income.
Yeah, that's not a thing. Not to say there aren't some shady advisors or managers, but I have been here a very long time and have never been coached to do anything of the sort. Quite the opposite, actually. Not all Enrollment are terrible people.
Interesting. If indeed this is a compliance issue, should be brought to the attention of directors and managers as this is the normal pitch all day long with online. My manager strongly supports this as part of presentation to prospective students. Advised to ask where they will be without degree, quote unrealistic salaries they can attain. Basically create fear.
No, those are not acceptable practices and actually go against company compliance.
If you read the complaint, they discuss "Poking the Pain" regarding future earnings with a UOP degree. Employees are encouraged to discuss what happens with lack of degree and offering advice on future salaries that can be expected. Are these not acceptable practices?
